About us
ANGEL MYTHOS is an angel-themed cultural IP universe exploring the power of early belief through art, nonfiction, fiction, real-world profiles, podcasts, exhibitions, collectible products, and future founder-support possibilities.
The project began in an artist’s studio as a series of angel-themed artworks and evolved into a broader creative universe that explores angels across mythology, history, sacred imagination, Broadway theatre, public art, patronage, and modern angel investing.
It also explores how the word “angel” entered the business world. In 1978, William Wetzel, a professor at the University of New Hampshire, helped formalize the term “angel investor” in entrepreneurship, connecting the older idea of early support with the modern startup ecosystem.
At its heart, ANGEL MYTHOS looks at the angel not only as a sacred or mythological figure, but also as a patron, supporter, investor, and first believer in human potential. From ancient symbols to contemporary entrepreneurship, it connects art, storytelling, culture, and human imagination around one timeless idea: belief before proof.
The first book series under ANGEL MYTHOS is THE FIRST BELIEVERS — a curated anthology of angel investors, founders, patrons, and early supporters whose journeys reveal the courage, judgment, risk, and humanity behind early-stage belief.
Through investor profiles, short biographies, and journey-based books, the series invites selected angel investors to share their stories and inspire founders, creators, and future builders around the world.
Each edition of THE FIRST BELIEVERS curates the journeys of 10 selected angel investors whose stories reveal the conviction behind supporting ideas before certainty and people before outcomes.
